Law Enforcement Intercept Package Containing Over 600 Ecstasy Pills

LE Recover 600 pills of ecstasy in drug bust

A package containing over 600 pills of ecstasy pills was intercepted by the United States Postal Service and Homeland Security during an investigation in the town of Madison Wisconsin this week.

Jessi A Roquemore, 38 years old, of Madison, Wisconsin was arrested when The Dane County Narcotics Task Force was notified of the package, they were able to obtain an executing a search warrant on Tuesday for Roquemore’s apartment in the 2200 block of Badger Lane.

During the task force investigation the task force recovered a loaded 9mm handgun. Due to Roquemore’s past felony charges, she will be charged for being in possession of the handgun as it is illegal for convicted felons to own any type of firearm.

“Homeland Security and the Postal Service recently intercepted a package mailed to the town of Madison woman, containing Ecstasy pills and powdered MDMA,” said police spokesman of Madison, WI

The law enforcement task force also confiscated more ecstasy and over 30 grams of MDMA that Roquemore had purchased from darknet markets. In total law enforcement seized a loaded 9mm handgun, 30 grams of MDMA and over 600 pills of ecstasy. Now Roquemore is facing multiple charges including possession MDMA with intent to deliver and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
